You may already be using a WordPress blog. If you aren’t, be aware they are super easy to install within most hosting accounts now days. Just click a few buttons and you are up and running as the host does the auto-install in the background.

You can easily use your blog as your main site for a domain or you can put it in a separate folder on your current site and add a link to it in your site’s navigation.

There are some tweaks you must do to make the WordPress blog as search engine friendly as regular static sites. Be sure you know and understand how to make those adjustments.

My Real WebSite Pro package does a good job in explaining those required tweaks.

One big challenge with WordPress sites is how to incorporate AdSense ads into them. Out of the box, it’s not nearly as easy as with a regular site. However, I found a no-cost plugin you can easily install into WordPress which makes inserting ads into your posts very easy.

The plugin is called WhyDoWork and you can download it here at no charge:

WordPress AdSense Plugin

It has good documentation; you will have to study it in order to learn how to use it.

Remember not to get carried away with too many AdSense ads on your blog just because it’s easier with the new plugin.  Placing fewer, rather than more, is usually a better strategy for AdSense.
