“How Can I Make Money Online?” – This is one of the most common questions beginning Internet marketers have. I remember having this nagging question in the beginning also. I wanted to do something online, but I could not think of anything. I recall thinking about it day and night…no answers came.

One day on my way home from work, I had an epiphany! I realized there were many people having great success online. I did not think they were simply lucky or more intelligent; I decided to dig in and find out how those marketers were having success!

I read all I could find. I bought eBooks and studied. I was learning and beginning to understand the process of online marketing. It wasn’t long before a light bulb came on and we decided to begin selling a nutritional supplement online. The funny part is that we had been using this same supplement for our old dog for 2 years! All during the time I spent trying to “figure out what to do online” the answer had been right there on our kitchen cabinet!

The moral of that story is that beginners who have very little knowledge about how Internet marketing works will have difficulty seeing what they can do online. However, once they have some basic education and build a few skills, they usually then have the opposite problem; they have TOO many ideas and must then learn to focus!

One very important point to remember is that there is rarely a need to reinvent the wheel. In fact, doing so often results in disaster. It’s far better to research and study how others have succeed. It’s far easier to make a few tweaks and adjustments to a proven system than trying to build a brand new system!

One of the best books I’ve seen on the subject is written by 20 members of Willie Crawford’s group Inner Circle Group. Each Chapter is written by a successful Internet marketer there who describes how they first began earning $100+ a day online. There are some VERY interesting stories in this 200+ book!

This book is a good example of the vast opportunities available online. Many of the chapters are real eye-openers and help stimulate serious brainstorming!

This is one of the few books, other than the ones I write, which I promote to my clients. I bought the book and thoroughly enjoyed it! It is not a “how-to” book, but if quite a few opportunities don’t show themselves, you probably are not quite ready for Internet marketing
