I’ve designed my 3 Day Crash Course for beginners who wish to begin their own Internet businesses. It’s constructed to give you a solid foundation of Internet marketing principles and an understanding of what it really takes to build an Internet business. There are a lot of misconceptions out there on what Internet marketing is all about and I will help you get focused and on track

One of my favorite parts about Internet marketing is the fact that the potential is huge and the sky really is the limit. At the same time, the risk involved in starting an Internet business is so much lower than starting a brick and mortar business. That’s the part I really love, that’s the part that really excites me about the Internet business. A small idea can grow with very little monetary investment. It requires your time but the monetary risk involved is quite minimal for the potential outcome.

We started a couple of years back with one small Internet site. We had a domain that cost us $10/year and used very cheap hosting for $3.95/month. We started with that one Internet site and continuously grown to a larger Internet site and we just kept adding into it until it became thee base of our success. Since then, we have branched off to numerous other areas of Internet marketing.

Along the way, that first website was becoming successful, and I had friends and relatives asking me: How are you doing that? How can I do that? How does that work? I realized then that there was a huge demand for that kind of information because a lot of people are very attracted to Internet business. Thus, I created StevesClassroom.com where I help beginners learn how to start their own Internet businesses.

The Internet business has been great to us. It gave us the freedom and lifestyle we have always dreamt about. The freedom to stay home, to step away from the rat race, set our own hours; it really has been great for us.

Everyone starts for different reasons and truthfully, when I started with Internet marketing, I didn’t even conceive of the idea that it may replace both of our current incomes. At that time, I just thought it would be really cool that I could make enough money with the Internet business to make our car payment, which was my initial goal.

It didn’t take too long before the car payment had been paid for and honestly, I thought, well how about our house payment? That would be cool too, to make the car payment and the house payment with just a little Internet business, and that happened and it just kept on growing and growing from there.

In a year or two, we were actually talking about my wife quitting her job. She resigned from her job first and that was just a wonderful time. That really made our lives easier because the Internet business was going well and she was able to stay home and pretty much take care of that and it just made our lives a lot better.

You really need to look at it right now, what your goals are and why you want an Internet business — maybe to make some extra income, maybe you just want to make your car payment or house payment and that is perfectly fine to start off like that. Maybe you have a product that you are making yourself and you would like to sell that online. Maybe your ultimate goal is to replace your 9 – 5 job.
Maybe you have a hobby, maybe you are an artist, or you have some other hobby and you want an outlet to sell your products online. Perhaps you want only to sell affiliate products or produce AdSense sites.Maybe you just like the idea of working from home like we do; it’s a great life by the way. The point is: Define your goals. Think about it for a minute and specifically determine what you want from Internet marketing because before you can really succeed, you need a goal and an end plan of where you want to be and where you want Internet marketing to take you.

Once you decide, you can put some plans into action to reach that goal. When you reach that goal, you would want a higher goal like I did. Take some time and think about that. Take a moment and imagine what you want. In your mind, picture out in detail what you desire with your Internet business.

As soon as you figure that out and you define that in your mind and on paper, you will have a clearer picture of how to proceed. Especially after this three-day Internet marketing crash course, you’ll have a good grasp for how to get from where you are right now to achieving your goals.

My main focus here is to put you in that frame of mind where you’re thinking like that. Then I’m going to provide you plenty of information about the basic principles of Internet marketing which you can use then to define the steps you need to take to reach your goal from where you are right now.

Before I end here, I want to tell you I work with a lot of beginners and I see some common problems. There really are two main issues many beginners have that I want you to think about. Remember these so you won’t fall into the same traps.

One problem beginners have is they get a little bit of information and with that, they get too many ideas that are really scattered. They do a little bit of this, and they do a little bit of that and they spread their efforts out in so many different places that none of them have a real chance of success.

I am a proponent of you trying different things. I think it is important for beginners to try different things at first but just be aware that is really a big pitfall that you could land in if you spread yourselves too thin. You need a little bit of focus there in some directions, that’s why I really want you to think about what you want with Internet marketing and that way you could focus better.

The second problem and perhaps the biggest problem that beginners have is simply lack of action. You’re success with Internet marketing will not happen without significant action on your part. I can teach you all day long, you could learn, read and listen to these tutorials, go onto the Internet and read about Internet marketing, but until you begin actually doing it, you won’t have any success. You’re going to stay right where you are without that action. So it’s very important to remind yourself all the time that action is the most important thing in the whole process here.

Hopefully, with the education and the three-day crash course, you’re going to see some steps that you need to take after this course to get you from where you are now, to reach your goals.
